The main mission of LAPIDUS Safety Consulting is to make safety performance matter on a moment to moment basis.

In seeking to make safety performance matter, LAPIDUS Safety Consulting provides clients with suggestions on how to:

 
1. Analyze the losses that have already been sustained.
2. Identify and mitigate risk exposures that could cause losses.
3. Comply with applicable governmental standards and regulations.

In addition, LAPIDUS Safety Consulting focuses on helping clients create programs that enhance what they are already doing.

Via consulting, training, research, and discussion, LAPIDUS Safety Consulting assists clients with achieving a safety culture where:

 
1. Life is precious.
2. The safety policy states: No function of the organization is so critical as to justify or require a compromise of safety.
3. Everyone seeks to do the right and safe thing the first time.
4. Working safely is expected and is positively recognized.
5. Working unsafely is not tolerated and is considered a major offense.
6. Incorrect decisions are analyzed to prevent such decisions from being made again.
7. All facilities are well maintained.
8. All practices and policies & procedures are designed around a disciplined and well planned structure.
9. Safety is integrated and designed into all facets of the organization.
10. Continuous improvement is the order of the day.
