Foundational Safety Programs

LAPIDUS Safety Consulting has been creating customized written safety programs for
over fifteen years. Each of these programs is tailored to the style of management
and culture of each organization to ensure a proper fit. Nothing is put in writing
that is not or will not be done to protect the employer from liability.

Transit systems have received tailored
System Safety Program Plans (SSPP) for their operations.
Private and public sector clients have received personalized
Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP) as is required in the State of California
for occupational safety and health programs. These programs can be used in other
states since they include the essential elements of what all safety programs should
include: Responsibility, Compliance (Accountability), Communication, Hazard Identification,
Investigation, Correction, Training, and Recordkeeping. Forms are provided to implement
each part of the program.

Compliance Most employers are required
to comply with a variety of governmental standards and regulations. Many of these
